Dakerai and Contral meet for the first time in the Fat Broad tavern in Nashula, and it goes poorly. Dakerai's had a rough day of thieving and gang fights, and he's not thrilled that some strange Northerner has come looking for him. Contral, for his part, is a terrible conman, and Dakerai is NOT having any of the crazy story he's selling OR the misinterpreted sexual advances (long story).
LITTLE DO THEY KNOW IT'S THE BEGINNING OF AN EPIC BROMANCE! cough. Bleh, just finished this today after working on it for wayyy too long. I kept getting bored. Augh, I only have about forty pages written so far, because I've restarted the damn story five times. For some reason it's giving me a lot of trouble. With your encouragement, I shall keep up the good fight!
