Pics from Part Three :] Yay, Arik! In the initial stages I wasn't sure if I wanted to include Arik in this story, but now I'm glad I did. He's invaluable for the effect he has on Bryce, and besides, he's quite the contrast to Merlin.

1) The first I-Love-You's, after several months together. Saying it was a big deal to the both of them because neither took the expression lightly; Arik had just recently gotten over losing Roger, and Bryce was sick of Merlin's dubious professions of love. In this scene Arik had been consoling Bryce after a breakdwon, which is why Bryce is crying. (And, yes, Arik really is about a foot shorter than Bryce.)

2) Arik on the airship. There are only two places where Arik ever acts masculine and aggressive: the soccer field and the boatyard. He becomes a different person once he sheds the Abercrombie sweater sets and starts scraping barnacles off the side of the barge. Personally, I think he should eschew sweaters entirely, along with most other forms of clothing. Mmmm, Arik <3.

3) The boys sneaking a quick kiss before class.

BrycexArik college stuff is WAY too adorable; this kind of stuff is my guilty pleasure.
